Google Gone Real Estate
Dec 15th
Google enters another controlling realm of your life. Real estate. Just when you thought you were safe and didn’t need to rely on Google for 100% of your daily needs. It seems Google is trying to make it impossible for you not to use them. All the while building a pretty useful real estate database. When I found this and used this product, I was blown away.

With this service you can search listings near where you live, almost any US city, and even narrow it down based upon price. Not only can you search what is for sale, you can also search places to rent, and even foreclosures.

Google even provides more information on each listing. Such as the year it was built, square feet, price, and number of bedrooms.

Go ahead and give it a try. Go to maps.google.com/realestate
TweetMozilla Thunderbird 3.0 Released
Dec 15th
Know 99.9% of people use Microsoft Outlook. I also understand why 90% of those people would rather not use a desktop email client. Mozilla Thunderbird has been in development for a few years but has not achieved as much popularity as Mozilla FireFox.
Here is a preview of some the features Thunderbird offers and why you should switch.
- a simplified user interface
- tabbed email — yes, tabs have migrated from Firefox to Thunderbird
- easier account set-up
- a faster and better search tool
- message archiving
- smart folders that group inbox views
- IMAP folder synchronization, so you can access your messages when offline

Yahoo! Has Added Twitter Integration
Dec 10th
Yahoo! has announced today that they are adding Twitter to their search engine. After you search a particular keyword, there is a box called ‘Twitter’ that you can click on and it will show you updates from twitter on that topic.
Yahoo! wants to show the public they are still improving and moving forward in search. Yahoo! plans to turn over all their web crawling to Bing when the deal is finalized. Yahoo! will still continue to develop front-end enhancements.
TweetNew Google Chrome Ad
Dec 10th
This has got to be the most creative ad I have seen in a long time. Google is really trying to push their new web browser. After this ad, IE and Firefox should be shaking in their boots.
TweetMobile Firefox Coming Soon
Dec 10th
Firefox mobile is on it’s way! What sets this apart from other mobile browers is that Firefox mobile is based on the format that most PC browers use.
If things go smoothly, we’ll have a (final) version out in the next few weeks.
- Jay Sullivan, Mozilla’s vice president of mobile
The first mobile Firefox version will run on Nokia’s new N900. A Windows Mobile of mobile Firefox is set to arrive next year, and Mozilla has begun working on an Android version.
